Federation Flags and Flagpoles is a family run Australian manufacturer. Everything we sell is made or finished by us in Melbourne, Victoria.
We build flagpoles, sew and print flags, and fabricate goal posts for clubs, councils, schools and homes right across the country.
Because we make it ourselves, we can tell you honestly what will work on your site and what will not. A 12m pole on an exposed coastal block is a very different proposition to a 6m pole in a sheltered back garden, and the base you put under it matters as much as the pole itself.
That is also why we will happily talk you out of the expensive option when the cheaper one is the right one. A pole that goes up once and never causes you trouble is worth more to us than a bigger invoice today.
The other half of what we do is custom work. Club flags, school flags, event flags, corporate flags. You send us the artwork, we proof it with you, then we print it and finish it however it needs to hang.
Every pole we make starts as raw aluminium in our own factory. Pick the height, pick the base, and we will make sure it suits your wind exposure and your ground. The heights below are for the pole itself. Bases, sleeves and finials are on the fittings page.
Sewn and printed in house in outdoor grade fabric, in the standard Australian sizes that match our poles. Custom printed flags carry your own artwork and we send you a digital proof before anything goes to print.
Club grade goal posts built for a full season of weather and contact. Powder coated, padded where they need to be, and ready to drop into ground sleeves. Clubs, schools and councils are welcome to ask for a formal quote and invoice.
The parts that hold everything up and keep it flying properly. If you are replacing a worn rope, adding a base to an existing pole or specifying a new install from scratch, this is the hardware you need. Tell us the pole and we will match the right parts to it.

Yes. We are a manufacturer, not a reseller. The poles are made and finished by us, the flags are sewn and printed by us, and the goal posts are fabricated by us.
That is completely normal. Tell us what the pole or the flag is for, how exposed the site is and roughly what look you are after, and we will tell you what to get.
